Please put Joel on your prayer chains. He was admitted to the hospital Friday evening in San Antonio and will be having bypass surgery, Tuesday. We are still waiting on the surgeon to confirm the exact time. He was sent home this afternoon and will be returning to NE Baptist early Tues morning. He will be there about 5 days.
He had a stess test 2 wks. ago and the results showed some concerns. He was scheduled for the angiogram next week. but he started having chest pains Wed., so the Dr. tried the Nitro patches, which caused some serious concerns with blood pressure and heart rate. They moved the angiogram to yesterday and found a 90% blockage in an area that can't be treated any other way than the bypass.
My brother, Bill is scheduled for bypass surgery next Saturday and will be at the same hospital. Guess Joel is warming things up for him.

He's bummed, but okay. Naturally, worried about "stuff".
