Continue Prayers for Joel

Please continue your prayers for Joel. He started what they call A-fib at 1:30 this morning and they have not been able to control it. They've gotten it better with meds, but not where it needs to be. He is so miserable between the pain, the yukky feeling the A-fib is causing, some nausea, etc. The surgeon came in and was surprised saying that he didn't think that Dad would have gone into it, but it is a very common thing with 60 -70 % open heart surgery patients.

He is back on an IV drip for the A-fib. They do have it down, but not under control, yet. The dr. says if the meds don't work there is another procedure they would do. It's so hard to stay in control of emotions since I am one that cries through some commercials.

Our daughter flew out this morning at 4:30 and has arrived back in CO. safely. She and I would leave the hospital late at night to get a "good" nights rest at a near by hotel and then come back early the next morning when visiting hours started. I will be staying here at the hospital from now on 24/7 until he is released.

I will keep everyone posted.

Love and Prayers to all!

Suzie
